Chelsea Girls was a 1966 experimental underground film directed by Andy Warhol and Paul Morrissey, following the lives of young women at the Hotel Chelsea. It was also the inspiration for Nico's 1967 debut album, Chelsea Girl.
Yet most of that seems forgotten while the poster is still one of the most memorable images of the era. This particular poster was apparently hand-signed by Aldridge in 1970 and according to the seller, has a gallery guide price of £5,000.
