Another gem from the hand of Mini Moderns – these rather wonderful Hammersmith and City, Waterloo and City Line, low level tables.
Not that you need to know the Tube connection to appreciate them. But if you do, that does throw in an added talking point.
What is that connection? Well, each table has a screen printed enamel top, with the original P.L.U.T.O. print reworked with the addition of a diagonal colour cutting through the design in the line colours of the Hammersmith and City, and Waterloo and City line.
The abstract shapes have also been recoloured in tonal greys, while the table has also been finished with hairpin legs in the line colours to keep the Underground theme going.
Lovely things and available in two sizes, priced from £1,014, with each table made to order. The tables launch at the Design Junction on 23rd September and should be available to order after that.
