We haven’t featured one of these little things for quite some time, so all the more reason to flag up this restored 1971 Fiat 500L on eBay.
It’s a left-hand drive in Italian red, starting life in Belgium in 1971 before moving to Holland and Belgium, then finally the UK. Since arriving here, the car has been ‘sensitively reconditioned’ at a cost of nearly £2000, including new rear window rubbers and a new rear bumper, as well as a recently rebuilt carburettor recently. There’s also a few minor modifications including an immobiliser/alarm system and an abarth rear box with dual tail pipes.
It looks great and according to the seller, the work undertaken means the car is now ’running sweet and starts first time’. the car is sold with a Certificate of Provenance from the Fiat 500 Club confirming build date of 1971, a copy of Dutch registration and the original Irish registration plates, as well as tax discs for UK and Southern Ireland. Note also that the car is UK registered and has an MOT, so it ready to drive straight away.
If you want to do the driving, the current price is £5,000.
