Mondrian’s distinct artistic style once again inspires new designs with these Piet tables by Hugo Passos.
It’s easy to see how Mondrian’s most famous pieces of the 1920s have inspired these designs. Each side table has asymmetric walnut legs, like a 3D versions of his grid-based painting, while the lacquer coloured table tops are in the same bright blue, yellow and red used in his work. The exposed joinery is a nice touch too.
The tables are infinitely more affordable than a Mondrian original but still pretty pricey for a small table, at £245 each.
