Designer Eric Pfeiffer apparently created the Scando Coffee Table in response to the needs of young children, something to do with its low soft form being inviting and aiding standing up. However, we like it because of its interesting shape and retro style.
Besides helping children to stand, the curved edge could be used to store magazines. It is available in four veneer finishes; birch, white, oak or walnut. Prices start at £560 for the birch up to £677 for the Walnut.
