I don’t believe the mod scene was known for its interior design, but that particular movement has given its name to this Mod upholstered bed at West Elm.
I’m guessing it’s the US interpretation of the word, which is more widely used as a term of reference for the 1960s in general, which is definitely where this particular piece takes its inspiration.
A good looking thing, the bed has angled solid wood legs, full upholstery on all sides in a feather grey and a super-high headboard.
You can get the Mod bed in a double, king or super king size, with prices starting at £699. You’ll have to budget for a mattress separately though.
