Now here’s something – a 1960s Dansette Conquest Auto record player with original packaging on eBay.
Ok, the packaging isn’t of much practical use, but it is rare to see and as such, is something worth holding onto. According to the seller, the player is in ‘timewarp condition’, with a bold royal blue and cream finish and ‘gleaming’ brass effect latches and fittings.
There is also a BSR UA14 auto turntable inside that plays four speeds, three controls on the front and the option to add legs (which are not included). The inner workings, including the valve amplifier, have been serviced, with any unsuitable parts replaced.
So pretty special and right now, it’s at £121.
