An interesting new design from Made, with the Lab lights mixing two very distinct looks.
For the shape. you are definitely in the realm of mid-20th century Scandinavian design, not least because of those layers of glass. Yes, that’s right, this is glass here, all of which are mounted onto a marble drop cap for something more high end that you might at first think. Oh yes, that glass is also mouth blown and hand moulded too.
But the finish is something of a departure, with the colours producing a piece that wouldn’t look out of place in a later, space age-style environment. Whatever, it works for us.
There are two colour combinations to choose from for the ceiling lights, selling for £169 each. As you can see from the last image, you can also pick up the design as a table lamp too. They come in a little cheaper at £129.
