Let’s be honest, design classics don’t often come cheap, with the original Poul Henningsen-designed Artichoke light fitting from Louis Poulsen costing anything up to £18,000. If that sounds a bit hefty, maybe this reproduction Artichoke light will fit your budget.
It’s almost identical to the 1958 classic, using overlapping, machine-cut aluminium ‘leaves’ for crisp, glare-free light from 360 degrees.
Sized at 130cm (h) and with a diameter of 60cm, you can choose from a silver, red or black finish, all retailing for £295.
