In the middle of many midcentury-inspired designs, this Daphne Padden collection from Beast in Show is the real thing, and her illustrations have been made available on everything from cards to coasters.
Padden's work is probably most familiar from her designs for London Transport, but encompassed a whole range of subject matter. This collection is based on her work from the 1950s and 60s and has been put together by the people behind the tea towel shop To Dry For, who have used works from her archive before.
The range, perhaps unsurprisingly, including tea towels but also coasters and placemats, such as the 'Spring placemat' shown above (it's still ages away, but we can dream!). Her transport and travel work is featured heavily too, including the charming charm design pictured below.
At the moment, there are 23 different products to chose from – and hopefully this will grow in the future.
Prices start at £2.50 for a card and go up to £45 for a print.
