More strange and wonderful lighting, this time courtesy of Achille Castiglioni and his Lampadina lamp, which dates back to 1971, but is still available to buy today.
Treading a similar path to the Ingo Maurer Bulb table lamp, it also goes for the bulb look, with a bakelite coloured bulb holder, clear globe bulb and an anodised aluminium base shaped like a film reel for storing the excess cable.
For a classic piece of design, it’s not too expensive either, priced around £55.
