Fred Perry has taken a classic bit of military surplus and refined it just a little. The result is this Fred Perry oversized fishtail parka for women.
At first glance, this is your classic mod-friendly anorak, but reworked in a showerproof cotton poplin and matched up with a polka dot lining, a placket that hides and insulates the zip plus two Harrington-style centre front pockets and a hidden inner pocket.
To add a vintage touch, there are corozo palm ivory buttons, and a zip in antique brass, with draw-cords at the fishtail and internal waistline to tighten up when necessary.
Finished with the Fred Perry Laurel, it is available in sizes 8 through to 16 but doesn’t come cheap. The retail price is £195.
