Vinyl must be really popular right now, as Aldi (yes, THAT Aldi) is selling vintage-style suitcase record players for very little money.
The bad news is that these are ‘sold out’ online, although I’m not sure everything is offered online by the retailer. The good news is that the record players are dropping into a store near you from 9th June 2016. So get up early and get in the queue.
Saying that, we haven’t a clue about the quality of these. They have the look of both the ION player and the Crosley record players we have featured of late, but we don’t think ether company has produced this.
We do know that the player is offered on three colours and has a belt-driven turntable mechanism, dynamic built-in stereo speakers and plays your vinyl at three speeds (33, 45 and 78rpm).
We also now that it sells for just £29.99 when it does land. That’s less than half the price of the competition.
