You may sort may not be aware that Amazon has just launched Amazon Handmade, which is rather like Etsy in terms of selling ‘handmade’ products. Only these sell via Amazon. It’s worth a browse too, as it includes designs like these retro-style lampshades by Lazy Susan Makes.
There is nothing radical about what you see here. Quite simply, someone is created lampshades using retro and classic cloths, saving you the hassle of doing it yourself.
So you can opt for an obviously retro / 1950s design like the one above or go for something like the Charley Harper, the Scandi design or the Marimekko poppy (the latter available in different colour options). The just find a lamp or stand, attach and you are away.
As for pricing, you are looking at between £25 and £35.
