As for the shoe itself, it’s a collaboration between Adidas Originals and the much-loved Manchester retailer, offering a Spezial profile, but with a premium dark blue nubuck with tonal suede finish, along with Manchester MRN branding alongside the serrated stripes. Custom tags and packaging too, which get the collectors twitching.
Expect to find them at the Oi Polloi store and other selected retailers in limited numbers, priced around the £90 mark.
