The Royal Mail has unveiled its David Bowie stamps, along with a range of strictly limited edition souvenirs and gifts that are likely to sell through very quickly.
The stamps are pretty self-explanatory, a selection of album covers from Bowie’s career. Those being Hunky Dory, Aladdin Sane, Heroes, Let’s Dance, Earthling and Blackstar. But there is much more to this collection the just the stamps.
Also in production is a range of Special Stamps, First Day Covers and Presentation Packs. The Ziggy stamp below is one of a range of additional stamps available featuring Bowie tour shots.
Beyond that, you can get some Presentation Packs with first day cover stamp sheets, a Bowie timeline with city postmarks as well as a Berlin years souvenir pack, a stamp art souvenir folder, limited edition fan sheets for each of the main stamps, a framed stamps and prints (like the Heroes pictured below), postcards and much more.
Basically, if you love Bowie you might want to check the bank balance. Prices vary, but obviously start at the price of a first class stamp.
