Not the rarest model, but we love the colour combination of this 1960s Dansette Tempo record player on eBay.
It really is a lovely thing. For course, this is a Dansette Tempo, so bound to look good. But in that bold shade of blue contrasting the white, things go up another notch. That isn’t original cover by the way, but the re-covering certainly looks impressive.
Beyond that, the player is everything you would expect from a restoration. So fully cleaned and lubricated, any parts no longer up to scratch replaced, the valve serviced and the Garrard deck checked and tested. Basically this is good to go, with a new cable fitted for modern-era safety.
