It was mass produced back in the day, but there can't be many of these 1960s Magic Roundabout ceiling lights still intact.
But this one is, ideal for brightening up a room, especially a nursery. It is branded Prova, which I'm pretty sure was the in-house brand of BHS in the 1960s and '70s, so the lamp is probably from one of those decades. The show was going strong for so long that it's quite hard to pin down.
The shade has nine brightly coloured characters on white plastic sections, each washable and removable to place in any order. As for condition, the framework is in 'very good condition for age', while the shade does have a 'couple of odd marks' but is in 'very good clean condition for its age with no damage at al'.
