You can pick up the standard version elsewhere, but the special edition 1950s Robin Day 675 Chair is only at The Conran Shop.
This is a collaboration with Mourne Textiles, with the chair newly upholstered with three heritage colours of Mourne Check, all of which have been made using the original hand looms dating back to the 1950s. So genuine authenticity.
That’s obviously a huge plus, but so is the groundbreaking design itself, dating back to 1952 and notable for its curved moulded plywood back and armrests, as well as the black steel frame.
Just 50 of the special editions are being produced in each of the colour options and if you want one in your home, they retail for £345 each.
