The sixth print in the Saturday Night/Sunday Morning range, this Moordale wallpaper by Mini Moderns would brighten up any retro interior.
There’s a story behind it too. Essentially this is all about Mark and Keith (aka Mini Moderns) and their Yorkshire upbringing. The dales and moors never more than 30 minutes away for either of them and this paper is a tribute to it. A landscape of rolling hills, punctuated by small towns and farms along with two natural landmarks – the Cow and Calf rocks that Mark visited in his youth, and Roseberry Topping, in whose shadow Keith grew up.
Of course, it’s also a very cool bit of interior design that lends itself to any room in the house.
The four colourways apparently evoke the journey of the seasons, from a fresh spring Douglas Fir green, through vibrant summer Mustard, rich autumnal Harvest Orange to a tranquil winter Stone. But you just go with the one that suits your mood and surroundings. £50 per roll is the price.
