No, your eyes aren't playing you up, this is a 1970s 'stretch' VW Beetle limousine on eBay.
It's a truly bizarre thing. A custom job obviously, based on a 1972 VW Beetle GT and finished to its present state in 2006, complete with a metallic champagne finish, black leather seats in the front, a cream leather interior in the rear, leather door cards, deep pile carpets, sheepskin rugs, an electric glass divider between driver and passenger compartment and a steel opening sunroof over the rear seats.
A new 1600 engine was also fitted during the build, along with a seemingly endless list of upgrades. See the listing for a full breakdown of everything, right down to the DVD player and 10-inch screen with TV receiver in the rear.
It will be sold with 12 months of MOT and due to age, it's also tax exempt. Fancy it? The price right now is £9,950.00. More photos on the listing.
