More late '50s, early '60s inspiration in the form of this Castleford sofa and armchair at Modern.
The design isn't anything out of the ordinary, but it's done well with a choice of colours, angled dark wood legs and a sloping buttoned back. That cushioning hints at a very comfortable seating experience too.
The range is essentially a three-seater sofa and an armchair, with the sofa selling from £499 and the armchair from £299.
