These tend to go for a lot of money these days, so some of these mid-20th century public information posters on eBay could be absolute bargains.
Judging by the write-ups, many of these are from a personal collection left in storage. A wise move as many of these are incredibly collectable in the 21st century, selling for well into three figures at auction. Indeed, the seller has two ‘Keep Britain Tidy’ posters selling for £400 each on the listing.
But there are far cheaper options. The 1950s Victoria Coach Station poster above is currently at £22.21, the 1960s Hire A Coach poster is still at 99p, another Keep Britain Tidy is at £22.51 and the 1960s bus travel poster is at £10.50.
