I featured the Blue Monday design a while back, but now there is a full range of alternative rock cushions by Mrs Bojingles.
Lovely things too and if you know someone with musical tastes in that area, these are well worth checking out. Handmade too, which adds to the appeal and of course, the uniqueness. No one cushion is exactly like another. Always a selling point for me personally.
I think the range changes occasionally, but there are classics of the genre available here, including the likes of Neu!, the Velvet Underground, Spacemen 3, Can, The Cure, Funkadelic, Joy Division, The Clash, Talking Heads and more. Some slightly more mainstream designs too, such as Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin if that’s more your thing.
I have picked out four here, but do check the website for more of the designs. The ones here are the classic design for Primal Scream’s Screamadelica, along with the logo for German Krautrock pioneers Neu! and two instantly recognisable album sleeve designs from Talking Heads and the Velvet Underground.
As they are handmade and often made to order, there may be a little wait. So consider that if you are planning on getting one of these as a gift. Also, note that the design is just on one side and the cover comes with polyester cushion inners if you are in the UK.
