It looks every bit the 1960s space age classic, but the Energi Gas table lamp is actually an Ikea design.
A relatively recent Ikea design too, but one rarely seen and we would guess, one not offered in great numbers by the Swedish retailer at the time. We have done some web searches and haven't found any others being offered for sale right now.
With that in mind, this Carl Öjerstam and Magnus Elebäck design is well worth flagging up, especially if you have a space age theme going on in your home. It stands around 51cm high and is in 'perfect working order'. It's also made completely of plastic, dismantling into three parts – base, stem and shade. There is 'some yellowing to the stem' and 'some minor marks/scratches commensurate with age' but absolutely nothing to detract from the overall look.
