Just a lovely design, with the added bonus of this 1960s Dansette Major record player with legs being the ability to play your old records too.
Having the legs converts this portable player into a rather cool piece of furniture, even more so with that blue and grey finish too. According to the seller, everything is 'entirely original' on the outside too apart from the new power cable and plug, which have been replaced for safety reasons. The one blemish is likely to be a small piece of the frill, which had come out, but was refitted. It means there are two very small holes, which you can see on one of the images.
Inside though, it looks to have been given the complete works. The words 'stripped, cleaned & vacuumed out' are used, with the item put back together with any defective parts replaced. The result is a record player that 'sounds superb', thanks to the valve amplifier within no doubt.
