The player is reminiscent of 1950s designs based on vanity cases. If you go on eBay, you can still see a few well-worn vintage models for sale, although they don’t have the functionality of the Coupe.
Yes, this design is based on a vintage model, but the inner workings are very much of the 21st century. Well, as far as a record player to be.
Take your pick from four colour options for the imitation leather covering, with the player itself offering three-speed playback (33, 45 and 78rpm), belt drive, pitch control, volume control, built-in speakers, a jack for headphones and mains power.
What you might not expect is Bluetooth connectivity, which means you can play the tunes off your phone through the speaker, should you like the idea of modern sounds via the vintage-style player.
