A design from the 1980s is back on the shelves. That’s the Adidas Harrington Jacket.
Of course, the Harrington Jacket itself is as old as the hills and is a design I have featured in the past. Indeed, you can pick up a classic Baracuta Harrington in the sales right now if you want one. But even at sale prices, the Baracuta jacket isn’t as cheap as this jacket
The jacket here is apparently based on a 1980s piece out of Italy, which has been rediscovered in the Adidas archive, part of a Samstag archive collection of similar clothing from the same era.
The Harrington is the pick of bunch, which is essentially a lightweight take on the classic, but with the same overall look, not least with the two-button collar and the ribbed waist and cuffs. It also has a full zip front, front welt pockets and a brushed gold-tone Trefoil pin as a finishing touch.
Not as substantial as other Harringtons in regards to the time of year, but an affordable option that’s great if there’s a hint of a shower (or when the rains break). Grab one for £74.95.
