I haven’t featured anything from this movie franchise for a while, so I’ll return with a big one – the Le Creuset x Star Wars cookware range.
When it comes to Star Wars collaborations, Le Creuset is about the last one I would think of. Saying that I have featured a Star Wars kettle, some Death Star salt and pepper shakers, a Death Star toaster and a Droid kitchen container set to name just a few things over recent years. So going full-on cookware perhaps isn’t a huge surprise.
Who would want it? Well, a Star Wars obsessive and completist obviously, but perhaps one that loves to cook and demands quality cookware when they are doing it. Le Creuset has a strong reputation on that front, with prices to match. So this isn’t some purchase you might make on a whim.
Although as it’s a limited edition, you might want to make that purchase sooner rather than later. Might make a good Christmas gift for the Star Wars-loving chef in your life.
As for the range, much of what you can get is pictured here. That includes the BB-8, R2-D2 and C-3POTM Mini Cocottes, all available for a modest £25 each. But those prices do go up.
If you want the Darth Vader Signature Round Casserole, you are looking at a heftier £295. Although you can balance that out with a Millennium Falcon Trivet at £15. But if you really want to go big, the Han Solo Carbonite Signature Roaster will be available for £360. Also featured in the range is a Tatooine round Dutch oven and a Porg pie bird.
If you want any of those pieces, you need to head over to the Le Creuset website from 1st November, which is the launch date for all of it. As I said, limited editions and as such, they might well fly out.
