I landed on this one by accident. My kids are currently obsessed with the Beatles’ Yellow Submarine animated movie (as all kids should be) and as a result, I was searching Etsy for something quirky and original for their bedrooms.
I’m not sure this quite fits the bill, not least because we don’t have a cat. But I thought I would share with you – in case you have one and you also have a soft spot for the Fab Four’s film.
Designed for a cat or similar-sized pet, this is a ‘soft’ house based on the submarine from the film, it can be made in custom colours, but in reality, you really want the original ones. It just wouldn’t work if it wasn’t yellow.
Construction is courtesy of a ‘qualitative’ fleece material (50% poliester+50% viscose), with a soft two-colour pillow for your pet to sleep, whether that’s a cat or a small dog. Of course, the detailing sells it. The colours I already mentioned along with the ‘Yellow Submarine’ branding, the portholes and the periscope.
