Because that's what this is – a vintage car that will get you attention almost anywhere you go. It dates from 1949 and according to the seller, it has had just two registered owners in the 60+ years since. That's impressive and perhaps accounts for its impressive external looks.
it has a 993cc engine and 'no mod cons', as you would expect from a car of this era. However, it 'drives as it should' which is the main thing. If you want to improve or custom the car inside, that's down to you.
