To cut a long story short, was watching a '70s crime show earlier and noticed someone carrying an incredibly stylish one of these. So off I went to eBay and searched for vintage AMF bowling bags. The results were even better than expected.
Two things struck me. Firstly, how incredible and distinctive the designs were. Secondly, how cheap these are in the US compared to vintage sports bags. I know they are a custom thing for bowling, but I reckon you can work around the 'rack' for the ball to use for everyday use (or possibly remove it). These would be real head turners.
We've flagged up a few designs on this page, with all the ones pictured currently selling for modest amounts, usually under $20. But do check out the others, as there are quite a number for sale. Sadly, most are US, very few seem to come up for sale in the UK. But shipping shouldn't be too much for one one these.
