The range was designed for Heal’s in 1946 – and almost 70 years on, the Ernest Race DA Wingback Armchair and Sofa are available at Heal's once more.
The iconic seating was a radical departure from the traditional bulky armchairs of the time, offering a light anatomical construction, as well as plenty of comfort. It's also been made with reference to archive material and original photographs to recreate the designs in line with the originals.
All of that does come at a price though. The armchair is £3.095 and the sofa is £4,895.
