I would like to think that it’s a tribute to the iconic 1960s TV show. But this Ready Steady Go sweatshirt at Joanie appeals regardless of that. And it’s in the sale.
But if you do have a soft spot for the groundbreaking music show of the ‘60s, then this surely has even more appeal. And let’s be honest, this is sweatshirt weather, so a good time to buy for wearing or layering up.
But if you don’t really care or haven’t even heard of it, there’s still plenty of appeal here. It’s a big and bold retro design, with colourful retro (and slightly shimmering) lettering set against a black background. The kind of design to get you noticed.
It is constructed from something called Lenzing Ecovero, which is apparently a fabric derived from certified renewable wood sources, with ribbed cliffs, neck and hem finishing it off. That’s pretty much it, really. You either love the logo, or you don’t.
