It looks authentically vintage, but that’s pretty much the point of these Carl 1960s tipped t-shirts by 66 Clothing.

So if you are looking for something vintage that’s perfect for the current bout of warm weather, then have a look at this range of tops. It might just fit the bill. Especially if you have a thing for the 1960s.

It’s actually a remake of an earlier design (which is, confusingly, still available). But the update doesn’t take anything away. It just offers something slightly different and still very much based in the 1960s. Oh yes, it offers new colours as well.

All of which have an old-school vibe. Shades you would associate with the era – cream, green, blue, white and brown that wouldn’t look out of place on the racks of a vintage store.

As for the design, the name gives you a hint. It is described as a homage to Beach Boy Carl Wilson. A slim-fit crew neck with a waffle-style design to the front and contrast tipping to the neck, sleeve and waist. Note there are subtle differences due to the change of style, essentially differing with the tipping and frontal design. Nothing major. Regardless, all are at the smarter end of the t-shirt market. Great with shorts and jeans or smarter wear.
