A spot of alliteration to highlight these newly-launched Mary Quant-inspired Mary Jane shoes at Joanie.
Actually, it’s probably repetition rather than alliteration, but you get the point. A double use of Mary, and for good reason. Because it emphasises both the design inspiration and the style of these eye-catching shoes.
I don’t really need to explain the Mary Quant reference. That daisy is pretty much the calling card for many iconic Mary Quant designs. And it’s still being used today, with various vintage Mary Quant reissues returning to the racks recently.
Not that these have any direct connection to Mary Quant (as far as I know). But if you want the look for your feet, this is a style to consider. They could pass for originals. We won’t tell anyone.
Produced from ‘high-quality, sustainable’ patent leather with a ‘classic square toe strappy dolly shoe shape’, the shoes have a low heel and comfort-cushioned sole for long days and nights. They also have a daisy design on top, adjustable double straps with elasticated round buckles, a vintage-inspired square toe shape, and a contrasting leather lining.
You can choose from four colours and pretty much every size. The shoes are available online right now for £95.
