While it might not fit into everyone's budget, the Orla Kiely furniture range is always interesting – including this Orla Kiely Larder Cabinet.
It's the designer's take on a 1950s staple. Except it doesn't have to sit in your kitchen. We reckon this would be ideal for adapting to storage in any living space, although it probably earns its keep best in a kitchen space.
It has deep storage cupboards, a cutlery drawer and a pull-out worktop covered in hardwearing stem print melamine. It also comes with pre-drilled holes and a set of hooks to hang mugs on. The top part of the dresser is removable too.
Made of walnut, with lacquered olive and cream MDF panels, it certainly doesn't come cheap at £2,700. But it does come fully assembled.
