A label that always does archive pieces so well. But this 1960s Fc Internazionale Track Jacket reissue by COPA goes above and beyond.
Our Inter Milan if you prefer. That’s the name the club is more widely known as these days and whatever you go for, it tends to be shortened to Inter.
Name aside, this is a very cool piece of retro sportswear, as well as a cool piece of old school knitwear. Works on both front. It is also a tribute to a coach who was famous for wearing it, Helenio Herrera. He is described as the ‘greatest coach’ in the history of the club, and if you want to see him wearing this vert jacket, have a look at the maker’s sales page to do just that.
This isn’t a standalone release, it is part of a much bigger collection by heritage sportswear label COPA going by the name of the FC Internazionale Milano Retro Collection. Reissued kit designs from the club’s playing and coaching range over the past 60 or so years. Obviously if you are a fan you will want to check out the complete collection.
Or check out this one, which works on a wider scale for fans and those indifferent to football. This particular jacket is based on a piece worn between 1960 and 1968, and is recreated here in a mix of cotton and polyester.
Details are the zipped front, tipping on the collar and cuffs and vintage branding for the badge and name. It also comes in a gift box too, which might be helpful with Christmas just around the corner.
Just on the shelves in all sizes, you can pick one up for £86.
