Retro looks adapted for contemporary life – that's the Lasse oak sideboard from Fashion For Home.
No points for guessing that this design is the company's take on classic Danish modern style. However, the design has been given a few tweaks to bring it into the twenty-first century, such as the cable hole at the back of the cabinet which makes the sideboard as suitable for displaying a flat screen telly as well as your collection of 60s ceramics.
The 'oak' in its description isn't entirely true. While the base and the doors are made from solid oak, the rest is made from MDF with an oak veneer. But, despite this grumble, Fashion For Home use a similar ordering, delivery and pricing model to Made.com so it's fairly reasonably priced for a new bit of furniture.
