Bold and Noble has made a mark with interesting typography prints, but their latest series, Illustrated Letter Prints, uses individual characters to great effect.
Although recently released, this is by no means a new project, but something that the Bold and Noble designers have been planning since the company was first started 6 years. They've been working on the designs slowly over that time but the results were worth the wait. The carefully selected typeface is Bodoni Ornamental which dates back to the 1820s. Each letter is filled with beautiful vintage-style illustrations of a creature whose name begins with that letter. Not all of the letters of the alphabet are available yet, but they are adding to the collection until it is complete. The prints cost £30 for a 30cm by 40cm piece.
