More by accident than intention, I ended up watching Antiques Road Trip yesterday. In that show, the two antique experts were driving round in a variation of one of these, a 1960s Sunbeam Alpine Series V GT convertible car. I'm pretty sure this isn't the same one.
This example dates from 1968 and was bought by the current owner off a previous owner of the vehicle since 1972. Between the two, considerable work has been done to the car. Too much to list here for sure, but check the listing as it is certainly extensive.
The car right now is finishes in a blue and black colourway, complete with factory hard top, a good (original) engine that's ready to drive away and good bodywork. But note the listing once more, which details work which could be carried out and some issues you might want to look at if you buy.
But it is a car that's good for daily use and looks great with a polish up. Right now, it is at £3,500 if you want to make a bid.
