They certainly aren’t for everyone, but personally I love a kitsch bar. In fact, I particular love this 1960s retro cocktail bar on eBay right now.
Could be late 1950s, but likely to be 1960s and although this has an element of kitsch to it, the bar here is a little classier than many you might see for sale.
Tapered legs, an illuminated section at the front (great for displaying your vintage glassware), a marble effect serving top, two raised shelves, gold edging and a wood effect vinyl on the front and sides. That pretty much sums it up. Great for a midcentury home, especially if you love a party or friends round for drinks. This is just the place to shake a cocktail!
According to the seller, this is in ‘overall very good vintage condition’ with ‘usage marks and nicks commensurate with age’. See all the images on the listing to get a closer look at it.
