No maker's details sadly, but this 1970s Italian pull-down hanging light really is something else.
It is certainly 'of an era', that's for sure – in looks, colour and functionality. Made of a brown lacquered metal, it has the pull-down mechanism (should you want a closer look at your prawn cocktail), along with a two-part lower section, which allows you to control the amount of light shining down. If you want lots of light you can even open it fully, effectively turning into a different light fitting.
There's a touch of the Panton about this, but it's likely to be a light inspired by the classic Flowerpot, not by the man himself. As for condition, that is described as 'excellent', but do check out all the images on the site for a really close look.
The price right now is £11.86.
