The sales blurb for Habitat's Hester dining furniture range claims to bring refectory dining forward into the 21st century.
What that really means is a post-war utility style look of furniture, the kind of thing Very Good and Proper have been doing for a while. However, that doesn't make the range any less attractive: the chairs pair oak veneer seats and chair back with a colourful matt powder covered steel frame. Take your pick from a choice of colours: red, green, grey or the vibrant blue pictured. There's even a matching table in the range.
Each chair costs £120 while the table will set you back £450.
