Not just your average Superstar 80s reissue, the Adidas x Run DMC My Adidas Superstar 80s trainers celebrate 25 years since Run DMC recorded My Adidas back in 1986.
Yes, an old school hip hop variation of a period classic. On the face of it, not hugely different in looks, but there is some variation in the detailing. A white and black colourway, the shoes have a tribute to Jason Mizell on the heel tab, Run DMC branding inside, a commemorative tongue, 'me and my Adidas' sewn behind that tongue, '1986' embroidered onto the heel and a 'lace jewel' (removable) on the front.
Limited numbers (appropriately 1986 pairs), all available from selected dealers from November onwards. Price? Probably premium, around the £100 mark at a guess.
