There’s something so stylish and timeless about the work of Dieter Rams. If you want an example, do check out this Dieter Rams-designed Braun RT20 radio, which is (amazingly) 54 years old.
Rams was very much a ‘less is more’ designer and to great effect, which is very much in evidence here. A graphite metal front, wooden casing and some minimalist controls and the dial. Add a small Braun logo and that’s about the size of it.
According to the seller, the radio has three bands for reception and is in full working order. As for condition, the wooden sides have the ‘usual signs of use’, with the radio described as being in ‘good used condition’ overall. The radio is wired for the German market, but does come with an adapter for other locations – see the listing for details of that.
Fancy it? Some bids in, with the current price at £112.59.
