A lovely car, but this 1962 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia does need some ‘light renovation’.
But let’s focus on the positives, the biggest of which is that this is a genuine right hand drive Karmann Ghia Coupe. It was produced in the Karmann Factory in Osnabruck, Germany, but somehow made its way to Cape Town, South Africa, where the car was bought by the current owner.
It is now back in the UK, with all UK Tax and import duty paid and the car ‘correctly registered’ on the N.O.V.A System. However, it has yet to have an MOT and as such, will need trailering or the seller can arrange delivery.
67,566 is listed as being on the clock and according to the seller, the car is ‘very solid’ but does require ‘lightly renovating’ to bring it to its best. The images (see more on the listing) certainly give that impression.
Right now it’s at £5,000 with no reserve.
