A great example of midcentury design from the modern era – the TrueModern Luna sofa by Edgar Blazona.

A modern take on a classic Danish design, it offers up a solid wooden frame and those angled legs and upholstery in what's described as a 'comfortable and versatile cotton blend fabric'. The button tuffting on the back cushions is a nice touch too.

The Luna sofa is available in five colour choices (Charcoal, Chocolate, Pewter, White and Khaki), with the wooden legs available in either Honey and Espresso. Prices are around the $1,499 mark.

Baracuta vintage-style Melrose chino trousers and Robertson chino shorts

Baracuta has been busy expanding its range over the past couple of years, with the Melrose chino trousers and Robertson chino shorts heading your way in time for spring.

The Melrose chino trousers take their styling from the classic slim-fit chinos of the 50s and 60s. Made from premium cotton twill, they feature 'Wood Button' detailing and some Fraser Tartan detailing on the waistband. You can secure a pair for £75.

Should we get a heatwave this summer (or you happen to be heading off to somewhere exotic), you can always opt for the Robertston chino shorts instead. Much the same in terms of styling, they offer up that shorter leg and a smaller price to match – yours for £55.

1980s Adidas LA Trainer gets brightly-coloured reissue

If your feet need a bit of colour, you just might want to check out the reissue of the Adidas LA Trainer.

It's back from the early 1980s, still sporting those bright colours from 'back in the day', including the orange above. Aside from brightness, the LA Trainer also offers those famous heel pegs, reflective 3-Stripes, injected EVA cushioning, and its notable nub outsole.

eBay watch: Robin Day space age 4-4000 chair for Hille

A superb impact chair is currently available in eBay for a price that doesn't break the bank – the Robin Day space age 4-4000 chair for Hille.

I know it has impact because I have one in my home already, although it does look a little different than the above, due to this one being re-upholstered, but with some style I have to say. The recliner chair was made by Day for Hille in the 70s as part of a 'Living Theme' aimed at a younger crowd and sold in Habitat, offering up a podium for different seating angles and foam cushions for comfort.

Time has led to a little 'yellowing' of the chair (like ours too), but it's still an amazing seat that's been out of production for years. £399 gets it on a 'Buy It Now' or you can make an offer.

Richard Hamilton greetings cards at the Serpentine Gallery

The Richard Hamilton Modern Moral Matters exhibition might not yet be open at the Serpentine Gallery, but you can pick up some merchandise – like this set of this greetings cards, which is available from the Serpentine's shop.

The cards use a 2009 version of his work 'I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas', which itself os based on an original screenprint  from 1967, which uses cine-film frames from the Bing Crosby film Holiday Inn.

The cards are A5 sized and come in packs of 5 for £5 or 10 for £10. Or you can wait for the exhibition – that starts on 3rd March 2010.
