Colloco offers reproduction classic Olympics sports bags

Olympic_bags

There’s an Olympics in China this year, which is always a good time to bring out some Olympics-based merchandise. But I’m not complaining if it’s as eye-catching as these classic Olympics sports bags.

All are reproductions featuring the logos of the respective games –  Tokyo 1964, Mexico 1968, Munich 1972, Moscow 1980 and USA 1984 will be available to buy. The bags are made from PVC leather and are fully lined, also featuring an adjustable strap and rubber zip pull.

Sized at 33cm by 24cm by 9cm, they will retail from early July for £24.95 each (although you can pre-order now).

Torrent saddlebags from La Redoute

Saddlebags

When the sun finally shines each year I find myself dreaming of cinematic bike rides through wooded river banks. While that level of fantasy might be slightly ridiculous, some of you might just like to invest in these fantastic saddlebags for just such an occasion.

From La Redoute, these Torrent bags are available in this great daisy print or the classic red gingham shopper pattern. They’re made of waxed fabric to ensure water resistance and cost a pretty reasonable £29.

New Bauhaus and Beat bag collection coming soon at Cheet London

Cheet
Hopping on the resurgence of retro influence in designer fashion this year, boutique accessory shop Cheet London bring us their Bauhaus & Beat range.

Hitting the shops in the Autumn, this preview shows us a glimpse of their heavily vintage inspired bags. The orange and black clutch bag is my favourite, though the retro designs are pretty well carried throughout the range. Click on the image for a proper look.

These bags won’t be available until later this year, and prices will range from £79 to £230 in stores across the UK and at the online boutique.

Barbarella Weekender Toilet Bag

BarbarellaweekenderzoomZPM claim that their Weekenders are “beloved of travellers everywhere and seen in all the best bathrooms”. We couldn’t possibly say if this is true or not, but regardless their hanging toiletry bag is incredibly practical and comes in a several retro patterns.

Perhaps the most kitsch, but fun is the Barbarella Weekender. In hues of pink, yellow and orange, it has a cartoon of Jane Fonda’s cult character amongst rockets, moons and planets. It has five pockets inside to organise your toiletries and a swivelling hook to allow you to hang it up.

It costs £36 and can be ordered directly from the ZPM website.
