Dub-Box – retro camper van caravan with a high end finish

Dub

Probably best suited for added capacity for a VW Camper Van, the Dub-Box is also versatile enough to offer vintage-style caravanning for any car. Indeed, it offers the Camper Van vibe without the hassle of maintaining an old one.

Mixing reproduction retro parts with cutting edge trailer technology, the Dub-Box has a glass fibre body shell and what's described as a 'handcrafted' finish using your choice of colours and fabrics, as well as a selection of flooring, blinds, upholstery, cupboards and worktops.

Replica Batmobile now available online at Firebox

Batmobile

Yes, you really can live out your childhood (and possibly adult) fantasy by securing a replica Batmobile, able to drive around the streets and park at your local supermarket. If you can find a parking bay big enough.

It really is impressive, an officially licensed replica, based on the iconic 1966 car, with a brand new GM350 crate engine powering its fibreglass body along the road. All your driving essentials are here too, including gauges, push-button ignition and working lights. But what about the gadgets you ask? Yes, it's packed full of those too.

eBay watch: 1960s low mileage Volkswagen Beetle

Beetle

Fancy a vintage Beetle with all the hard work taken care of? If you opt for this 1960s Volkswagen Beetle, you get that and right now, for just £100.

It dates back to 1964 and has just 57,330 on the clock. Not only that, it's had plenty of work to get it back to its best – a new paint job, new bumpers and plenty of other cosmetic work too, by the look of the images on the site.

Sold with a 12-month MOT and plenty of service history plus old MOT certificates to show the legitimacy of the mileage, it's at that £100 price point right now. Sounds like a steal.

Sinclair C5 electric car gets a sequel – the Sinclair X-1

Sinclairx1

We love the quirkiness opf the Sinclair C5 – and we have flagged them up on eBay in the past when we've spotted them. Sadly, the buying public wasn't quite to so keen on the mini electric car when it landed in the mid-80s. Indeed, less than 12,000 shifted and the company went into administration. Here's hoping the follow-up, the newly-launched Sinclair X-1, get a more favourable response.

It's a similar kind of vehicle, but according to Cnet, has a few improvements – a reclining nylon seat and a waterproof acrylic bubble being the most obvious, the latter keeping you secure from the elements. At least, more secure than the original. Still not great in a heavy downpour.

eBay watch: Limited edition Paul Smith-designed Mini

Ps_mini

I'll be honest, this is probably the most modern eBay find we've ever done. But it is a classic / original Mini and not just any older Mini – it's a limited edition Paul Smith-designed Mini.

Yes, Mary Quant wasn't the only fashion designer to get her hands on the Mini, Paul Smith did so too in 1999, with 300 of his themed Minis offered for sale. How many are left? That's anyone's guess – but almost certainly less.

For your money, you get a standard (for the time) 1275cc Mini, but packed with extras, including a 24ct gold badge on the bonnet, a British Isles badge on the grill, citrus green 'hidden parts', a denim jack bag, body coloured dashboard, black leather seats and plenty of Paul Smith branding. Condition seems fine, with the odd mark here and there, but at £1,500, it seems a reasonable price.

Piaggio reissues the classic Vespa PX scooter

Px

It was withdrawn from the range by Piaggio a while back, but news has reached us of the return of the Vespa PX scooter.

For eco (and possibly commercial) reasons, the Vespa PX departed the market, as the company concentrated on its 'twist and go' range. But it is now being re-launched by Piaggio and was shown off recently at the Milan Motorcycle Show looking not a lot different to older models. Indeed, it's only really had a few minor cosmetic enhancements for the relaunch, still using a standard PX 4-speed, 2-stroke 125cc engine (we believe) and offering the usual hand gear shift.

Pricing hasn't yet been talked about, but you should be able to buy one next years, specifically from April 2011. More details when we have them, although so far, the Vespa press office has ignored our pleas for more details on the relaunch.
